Family Reunions

Last weekend, 6 of the women in my family met in a beachhouse in S.B. for 4 days. It was great to connect without kids, spouses or disasters. We try to do this every year and I'm so glad. Great memories are made and old ones revisited. The 1916 carousal in Chase Palm Park is one of 3 in the US. The other I remember from my home town, Long Beach. What do you think of our group photo guest all dressed for the season?

Watching "NungLuv" is amazing

On Facebook, a friend calls Anna and Andrew's affection for each other by the nickname "NungLuv" and I think it explains the unique and intense love they have for each other. I was privileged to witness that love close up during their photo session on Sunday while their young son was at Grandma's. Such an amazing love!

Thanks, Mr. & Mrs. N, for letting me see the "real thing" after the honeymoon. It was so refreshing.

Thanks, Mark.

I had the pleasure of joining Mark Nakamura at a fabulous wedding in Nipomo. The weather was perfect and the couple stunning.

Anna & Andrew, your little Phillip is such a cutie!

And he photographs so nicely. Thank God the shutter is faster than he is. The weather was perfect and watching you two be so sweet on each others was great. Picking your favorites will be hard.

Thank you, Jim Davis, as coordinator of entertainment at the 2009 Annual Morro Bay Harbor Festival, for the opportunity to shoot for the Red Skunk Jipzee Swing Band (RSJSB for short). What a great group of musicians. Look at the fun that Ken was having on the drums. That's a guy doing what he loves!

Graciously Grace

I am so blessed to capture a moment with Grace here as she wakes from her nap. Thank you, Joice, for this opportunity to look into those beautiful eyes of innocence.
