Family Christmas Gift

Every October/November Ruby calls to schedule her annual family photo session for Christmas postcards. This year was a rush but still in time. Having watched her children grow up, I especially love interacting with them and having the teenagers "give me some attitude" for the camera.

Cowboy Wedding

Sahra is an unconventional gal so when she said her wedding dress was going to be a red Victorian lace number with cowboy boots underneath, I wasn't surprised. The groom wore a wonderful Western dress black and red shirt with cowboy boots also. Between the ceremony and the reception we were able to sneak away to the Camarillo Ranch for some thoroughly Western wedding shots.

Tasteful Boudoir

What is boudoir photography you ask? The exact definition is "a woman's private room." In photographer's terms, it is tasteful images of the body for personal use, mostly with some clothing on. The shots are discrete, not x-rated, and are often a gift from a wife to her husband or for an older woman who wants to remember she is still sexy.

I had the opportunity to do a boudoir photo session one winter day. I am been studying what images would work best under what lighting conditions but when the time came, it was really all about what the woman was comfortable with. When it was all over, we were both very happy with the images.
